Wheel of the Year

Definition

The eight sabbats of the pagan year, as the Wheel on Willowroot’s home page turns through them: Imbolc (1 February), Ostara (the spring equinox), Beltane (1 May), Litha (the summer solstice), Lughnasadh (1 August), Mabon (the autumn equinox), Samhain (31 October) and Yule (the winter solstice). The Wheel marks today, the sky chip in the header counts the days to the next turning, and each sabbat has a wand family the grove suggests for it.
